OkAcquisition and Due Diligence

10,000 sq.ft
Prior to purchase, we advised on the condition of this Grade I Listed building dating from 1656, in anticipation of its conversion to a restaurant. We focused on the means to undertake sympathetic repairs to the timber frame, which had suffered as a result of decay over a prolonged period of time. Our experience and expertise of such buildings enabled us to put forward a series of pragmatic and sympathetic repairs, that the client incorporated within their fit-out proposals.
The client was able to assess the full ramifications of acquiring this building, which now trades as The Old Hall and is an example of how property of this type can be brought back into use, and continue to be at the centre of local communities.
