Summary
The project for the demolition scheme for this former Spitfire factory saw more than 80 per cent of the building materials recycled, including the salvage of 1,100 tons of scrap metal with a value in excess of £140,000. Originally the largest single building on the business park, the site was prepared for future redevelopment.
Result
Clearance of the site enabled two new industrial developments to be constructed by the fund via pre-let agreements.
