What sparks my working fire?
Seeing the fruits of my labour, primarily in respect to project work. Having something tangible at the end of a project to look at and say ‘we achieved something great here’, and to see how the things we do and places we improve or create are used and enjoyed, is one of the more satisfying elements of what we do.
Working with good people, both internally and as part of a wider project/client team is also a very important factor in why my passion generally lies in the project world.
What else do I want to disclose about myself?
My life outside of work is generally consumed ‘in a great way’ by my family, particularly having two young boys, who are quickly catching me up, both in size and food consumption!
Having always been sporty, (football, golf, cricket etc) I have in recent years entered the mid-life-crisis world of triathlon. Training for this helps both my physical and mental wellbeing, but also, I hope provides a good example to my kids, i.e. if the old man can do it, then so can we!
