This contemporary Grade II listed office accommodation in the heart of the City of London, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, is juxtaposed with classic architectural features and faces London’s longest established public park. As lead consultants in the pre-acquisition inspection process, we coordinated a team of M&E, environmental and structural engineers. Our report was prepared together with a fire reinstatement cost assessment.
Result
Our advice preceded a major refurbishment and reconfiguration of the building, enabling the fund to manage inherent problems contained within the original structure. The refurbishment of this landmark building provided additional lettable floor space.
