  • Development Monitoring

    By agreeing suitable pre-development documentation, acting for either investors or occupiers, we become the eyes and ears of the client, raising any concerns which directly affect their interest in the scheme.

    Our early involvement as Development Monitoring Surveyors may allow us to negotiate improvements or modifications in the base build specification. Additionally, whilst our on-site inspections and Progress Reports are the means by which we maintain quality, agree any financial draw-down and foresee any programme implications.

    We design, procure and administer building and fit-out contracts, from feasibility stage through to the end of the defects period and everything in between.

  • Design and Build Procurement - Employer's Agent

    Design and Build forms of contract are an increasingly popular way of transferring risk to the contactor. We apply our experience acting as "Employers Agent" to ensure that the client commissioning the building has influence in the successful outcome of such schemes.  It's worth noting that Design and Build procurement does not suit all situations, we will advise when it can be used to the best possible advantage, acting as "client " under the building contract.

  • Party Wall and Neighbourly Issues

    Acting on behalf of either Building or Adjoining Owners and occupiers we apply our detailed knowledge of the Party Wall Act proactively and pragmatically, advising on the implications of the Act throughout the design process avoiding delay to the development and limiting inconvenience and intrusion. Procedures for party wall work noise, disturbance and access can all be documented in the Awards we issue or agree.

  • Feasibility Studies

    We carry out feasibility studies in order to confirm whether schemes are both commercially and technically viable.  The written and visual information we present to clients is clear and concise and supported with realistic budget cost appraisals.

  • Expert Witness

    Our extensive experience in the commercial property sector enables us to act as an expert witness when required, providing technically precise, and considered reports in compliance with current protocols.
