What sparks my working fire?
There is something satisfying about helping clients navigate the world of dilapidations and seeing their anguish turn to relief when negotiating a claim for them. The work of development monitoring also keeps things interesting, seeing projects from conception through to completion is always nice as often us surveyors are tasked with looking at completed buildings – some of which have seen better days! Also, I know lots of people say it, but the people you come across being a building surveyor really do make the job interesting, especially when you come across various different businesses, many of which ordinarily you wouldn’t be exposed to.
What else do I want to disclose about myself?
Away from work you will find me playing cricket, attempting to play golf, spending time at my nearest CrossFit gym, and spending time with my young family – in no particular order I must add!
Cricket has allowed me to visit some amazing countries including India, Bangladesh, Dubai whilst representing the England Physical Disability Cricket Team, and I hope to tick a few more off before my playing days are up!
