DAVID HOLLINGSWORTH, who joined the Chester
office in 2014 as an Associate, becomes the LLP's ninth Partner. He
will head up the growth of the firm's insurance-related work and
principal designer services. A chartered surveyor with 20 years'
experience, David will also oversee the training of junior staff
and lead a number of major client instructions.
Andy Williams, Managing Partner, said:
"We are delighted to welcome David as a fellow Partner, it is a
richly deserved promotion. His success is down to sheer hard work
and excellent delivery of new business within insurance and
reinstatement instructions, and development of our PD team. He has
proven his ability to generate work and lead a team, and he will be
a significant addition to the Partnership."
"I joined Powell Williams with a view to helping expand the
service offering and bring in new clients through my focus on
insurance-related work and principal designer
expertise. This gave us more capacity to assist clients with new
and complex areas of work, and allows us to offer a true life cycle
service to our clients, an achievement of which I am pleased to
have played a part.
The depth and breadth of expertise here is outstanding,
it's an excellent place for an ambitious surveyor to develop their
skills. We routinely provide multiple services for clients, from
acquisition due diligence to dilapidations and disposal advice,
being appointed to project manage refurbishments, monitor new
builds, act as employer's agent and principal designer or, in many
cases, all of the above."

NATASHA TYLER in the London office is also
promoted to Associate. The promotion completes an outstanding 12
months for Natasha, who was named RICS Young Building Surveyor of
the Year and was commended by her peers with the RICS Matrics 1913
Wilderness Award in 2016.
A surveyor for three years, Natasha will now be focusing
on providing project management services to clients across the
firm's national portfolio.
London partner Andrew Marshall said:
"In addition to her exceptional award wins, Natasha's contribution
to the business has been tremendous. Not only is she a highly
motivated member of the team, full of ideas and keen to support
others, she has a savvy commercial mind and has proven to be a
first-rate project manager.
Natasha has been a vital part of the team delivering some
complex and high value schemes, and has developed excellent
relationships with key clients, such as Cube, Benson Elliott, and
Ropemaker Properties Limited. Her expertise lends itself to a
Project Management focus, and Natasha will be growing this part of
the business with both new and existing clients."

ADAM FARRER is also promoted to Associate in
the Leeds office. He joined the firm in 2015, soon after the launch
of the Leeds office headed by Partner Paul Scourfield. He has been
instrumental in growing the business in Leeds and cementing
relationships with key clients including Travis Perkins and SIG,
and will be charged with continuing to help expand the client
"Adam's work, and the esteem in which he is held by many of our
clients, is extremely impressive and demonstrates his commitment to
Powell Williams and a desire to grow the business. He delivers an
excellent service, has nurtured several key client relationships
which results in high levels of customer satisfaction and,
crucially, repeat business for the firm.
We will continue to support Adam in his professional
development. He has really stepped up to take ownership of creating
new opportunities for the business, in particular the growth of the
Leeds office, and thoroughly deserves this promotion."
